Many guys at my crossfit gym wear compression socks. I'm thinking of picking up a pair as well. See what the hype is all about.
I'm all about gloves because honestly to me it isn't worth it to get ripped up hands, palms, etc. I use bicycle gloves because they're thin enough to grip the handlebars when doing pullups.

okay guys i really need us to settle this ![Smilie](https://teamspeed.com/forums/images/smilies/teamspeed/smilie.gif)
sweet potatoes vs white potatoes
1. sweet potatoes are fine by me, i CAN eat them but i don't ENJOY them and don't see myself eating them EVERYTIME i want to carb up. not to sound like a complete ninny but the mushy soft texture isn't something i want to eat eod
2. i LOVE baked white potatoes, i can eat one and feel just as satisfied as eating a whole pizza, the best burger, a full 2 litre of BR icecream.. i really L O V E potatoes as if i'm irish, this will help keep me sane and not binge nor be allured to cheat.
3. my research tells me that white potatoes are 20-25% carbs per 100g, so really that is nothing.. more importantly it's like saying a 300 grams potato is only 300 calories.
4. sweet potatoes seem to have just a tad less calories per gram, really NOT significant to mention. so it must be something else, and:
5. no, sugar content seems to be the same. thus:
6. questions: a. is it just the glycemic index that makes sweet potatoes preferred in the fitness world?
b. seriously, how BAD would it be if someone were to 100% substitute white for sweet potatoes?![Shrug](https://teamspeed.com/forums/images/smilies/teamspeed/ts2/shrug.gif)
as ECB said more than once we are not competing, so i realize this is not as big an issue about the different types of fats, but why is it that the impression regarding white potatoes is that they are not good?
i humbly don't see why someone cannot cut up and lose bodyfat if they are responsible with their white potatoes just as much as with their sweet
