My staples are:

1) Multi-vitamin (usually opti-men)
2) Fish oil
3) Flax seed oil
4) ON Hydrowhey protein
5) Karbolyn (mix it with protein for intra-workout). Good for clean bulk.

I used jack3d for pre-workout depending on the program I'm on, or sometimes just a shot of espresso.

I also like to stand around the bench press for an hour and look at myself while I talk on my cell phone. That always helps your appearance.
I guess you talk in your phone while trying to get them boots on . . .

As for gym clothes
Mostly sweatpants jerseys and hoodies
I'm a Adidas guy. A friend who works for adidas kit me up with good stuff. Although, once I tried my first "functionality"-shirt I have a hard time seeing me go back to regular cotton-clothes.

More than one thing can work!!!!

I agree wholeheartedly on theory vs practice, I'd also say that unless you try out other theories you won't know if they work better than what you're currently using, even if it's successful.
without a doubt.... thats why there are sooooooo many different ways to lift, eat, diet etc.... One thing I have noticed is that body builders do not change much. they stick to one thing if it works or not.

Gym Clothes:

Nike DryFit shirt for sure.

Pair of shorts. (Sweats with shorts underneath, if it's cold)

Gym Shoes.

I also live by Nike's Combat Pro Compression Underwear. I have 7 pairs now, one for each day of the week..

Glad to see I'm not the only one fallen into the "compression/training clothes" trap.
