Jack3d has monohydrate in it. So if you've taken that, you've taken creatine monohydrate.

It's good but it will definitely make you bloat. Probably 5lbs minimum water weight on 5-10g/day (that has been my experience). I have gained more than that in water weight alone, usually 7-8lbs.

If I were going that route I would stack it with an NO supplement... They really work better together than on their own in my opinion. If I had to choose between the two I'd go NO before creatine though.

See, C4 even has creatine in it, but most preWO formula's don't tell you the concentration included, and test results have proven to be less than 2g's per serving...

Most people suggest taking no more, or no less than 5g a day - 7 days a week or pure concentrate... So what we get from our preWO isn't nearly enough.

Also Mono and HCL are known for having no bloating/water weight. On BB.com, seems like people post drops in weight due to slight appetite suppression.

It depends on which pre workout. They all have "proprietary blends". Some of the pre workouts I have used have up to 4g if I recall correctly - a lot of it depends on how many scoops you take etc etc

HCL is known for no bloating. Monohydrate is known FOR bloating. That's why HCL was so "revolutionary", it reduced the bloating/water weight issue. If you are reading somewhere that monohydrate = no bloating, that source is incorrect.

For what it's worth I never noticed creatine having any effect on my appetite and I have taken 5g and 10g/day of regular monohydrate.

from what I have read on BB.com water bloating is not as common with creatine as it was in the past...

when I took assualt for a few weeks, it kicked ass. I felt so much stronger, I am sure that was from the creatine, it had 5 g per serving.

i havent been on any supp stack or supps regularly for over a year and a half now, so all those new comps and products are a bit too much to take in

however a guy i really trust and who knows what's up swears by musclepharm's creatine .. it's white with green script, sorry on my fone

Alright. Officially decided that I'm going to do the IF/LeanGains [cutting] program, as well as adding ON Creatine to my supplement list.

Current Supplement List as follows:

Opti-men Multi Vitamins
CLA
BCAAs
Glutamine
Adding ON Creatine (CreaPure)

Ideally would like to make my caloric intake around 2100 calories a day based over 8 hours[1pm-9pm] of eating [16 hours of fasting per day 9pm-1pm]. Probably wont start to be strict on this diet at least for another 3 weeks due to my schedule for the next few weeks.

9 days in on my new diet and workout, i felt flat and noticed that i have plateud on the scales. lowest i saw all week was 88.4kg which is very strange for me given what i was doing. obviously overtrained and malnutritioned, it was clear to me that i was in starvation mode and my body refused to use up more. i figured it's time for a true test to see if i'm on the right track.

i rested the last two days, friday and saturday, all the while carbing up! had some fries as well at ruby tuesday's on thursday, and pf changs yesterday beef and honey chicken, sauce on the side but i did dip to get some bad sugar and starch and fat in my system. this is next to the saturday family lunch where i had some brown pasta and fried (olive oil) chicken breasts and thighs

result is a weigh in of 90kg this morning! and an exactly what i assumed 89kg post workout. i LOVE it when my body does exactly what i want!!! i'm psyched because now i know how and when to eat, when to cheat, and what to do at the gym. bit of obliques and core (medicine weighted balls) introduced, goal is a 30" 31" MAX waist. and i'll extend the rotation wo for a week or so before starting a bi/lat, chest/tri, delts/trap/for routine mixed with cardio as i wish to see what the arginine/creatine supp will do to me

more importantly, food wise i just ate 2 cans of tuna with 1 spoon of low fat mayo, added olive oil before the mix with brown rice to ease down the swallowing. worked like a charm

still aiming for 87kg in 2 weeks, which is this tuesday. wish me luck

If I'm cutting fat I prefer the zig zag method. 2 days lo cal/carb, 1 med cal carb. Keeps you from going into starvation mode.

This is why I'm adding a heavier dose of BCAA's to my daily intake.
