Why do they stop working? The metal whisk ball thing wears out?

Teamswede!!! OGOGOGOGO! I'm about to change gym (and no, not to a girly girly-gym but) to a gym closer to home. I've only been hitting the gym 2-3 times a week the last couple of weeks because time has been so tight. So, changing to a gym closer will make me go 1-2 times extra a week. Ideal would be 6 times a week but I don't think I have the time atm.

Sounds like a great plan!
How do your split look like, set/rep/weight etc.

Wish to know more were to find a really good outdoor gym around nacka/southern sthlm area. nothing beats working out with only a pair of shorts while the sun is blazing. Workout + tan =winning

Tbh, I don't have a schedule. I think that is what makes it work so good. I usually do what I feel I haven't done lately. That way, to a certain point, I get a good overall workout on a 2 weeks basis and if I'm sore at some part I just don't do it, ie. no injuries. So, there's no logic in my routine, for example, some days I might do bic/tri and some days I might go back/legs - it all depends on what kind of mood I'm in.

I've always been doing 6-8reps for 4sets and 4 exercise per muscle group. Lately though I've been thinking about trying to follow a routine, like 2weeks heavy and 2weeks light followed by a week of only running or something similar.

I love this thread.

Personal Update: Since January 8th when i got home from South America i have been on a strict diet + workout plan. Dropped over 10 pounds and gained some solid muscle. I was about 209-210 (not sloppy - i am 6 foot 3) and am now a consistant 199-200 and getting more shredded/tight every week.

My running has now increased to 20-25 miles per week --- usually with one long run (for me) mixed in. This week will be a 10 miler.

Overall Goal is another 4-5 pounds down and weekly running to 25-30 miles per week. until about May or so. Then i am going to shift my focus to weight training for the summer and shoot for some serious "personal bests" in the gym.

Keep up the great work everyone. I love coming to this thread every now and then for ideas/motivation!!!
