Haha oh man, BigE is on a roll! Chris, that's funny that the gas cap was the cause of the CEL. That's actually one of the most common problems. The general rule of thumb is to screw the cap on until you hear it click 3 times. Then you know it's tight.

I laughed, a lot, but it was because I was picturing the scene. How many times we been there/done that together with gear, ready to lose our minds, only to find it was something simple?PEBKAC bro. PEBKAC.

Ah, cmon give Chris a break. Honestly, how many of you would even remotely think to look at this as the reason. Nevertheless, pretty funny and I will always be double checking my cap from now on. Just look at it this way, you have helped educate all your fellow pcar owners. Congrats on being back on the road. Good stuff.
