Chris from Cali's DC to Laguna Seca Pilgrimage My wife and I are driving cross-country starting tomorrow to attend the Monterey Historic Races at Laguna Seca. Since Porsche is the featured marque this year (last time was 1998 - I was there!), we thought it would be fun to bring the Carrera 4S and park with all the other Porsches, do the parade lap, etc. If I am really lucky, I'll get Derek Bell to sign under the hood... I am going to post updates/pics/etc. daily. During the drive out, Russ aka MexicoBlue has graciously offered to put us up for a night in Little Rock. We also plan on meeting up with a bunch of TSers in Monterey, both at the races and for dinner on Saturday night. The car is detailed, gassed up, and ready to go. I'll post some pre-launch pics later and then the updates at night from our hotel rooms. Keep your fingers crossed for no tickets, mishaps, flats, etc. :yahoo: |
Have fun mang! Looking forward to the updates! |
I'd love to get a map of the route you're going. (To lazy to find out myself on google maps ;)) Looking forward to pics and updates! |
