Shiro Maguro Tataki - Seared albacore belly, red onion, fried onion, crispy garlic, chili oil.

Yaki Nasu - Broiled eggplant, grated radish, dashi.

Ika Tako Karaage - Calimari rings and octopus legs deep fried.

Yamakake - Tuna and grated mountain potato.

Japanese Fries - Broiled mountain potato skin, lightly salted with chili flakes.

Kohada - Gizzard Shad, lightly pickled.

Nasu Oshinko - Pickled eggplant.

Huge fan of Tomodachi - there's one in Westlake as well. O2 in simi valley is one of the best IMO, there is also one in Pasadena.

tomodachi was ok for me. i lean towards the traditional japanese style and ingredients. with that being said, for what it was, the food was good there and the people were really nice.

Tai Atama - Steamed red snapper head with tofu and asparagus.

Japanese Ceviche - Mixed seafood, avocado, cilantro soy, fried onions.

Awabi - Saute'd abalone, mushrooms and garlic.
Tako & Shi-take - Octopus and plum, grilled mushrooms with garlic and ponzu.
