Lots of news on key players:

Steven Jackson - RB - St. Louis Rams - Nov 28 2008 4:02PM est
News: According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Steven Jackson (questionable, quads) will be active Sunday against Miami barring "an unforeseen setback between now and the noon kickoff."
Impact: If so, coach Jim Haslett has reneged on his vow to make Jackson practice a full day before using him again. Beat writer Bill Coats says Jackson "probably" will start over Antonio Pittman. That may depend on how S-Jax looks in warmups and early in the game. Consider Jackson a high-end RB2 if he's up.

Brandon Jacobs - RB - New York Giants - Nov 28 2008 3:35PM est
News: Brandon Jacobs (knee) is listed as questionable for Week 13.
Impact: However, he practiced extensively on both Thursday and Friday and is fully expected to start at Washington. Due to injuries the Redskins have hinted that they'll use a lot of nickel defense and that alignment would prevent them from stacking the box against The Train. Jacobs owners should make sure he's active Sunday morning, but have him penciled into lineups for now.

Plaxico Burress - WR - New York Giants - Nov 28 2008 3:20PM est
News: Plaxico Burress (knee) has been ruled out for Week 13. Domenik Hixon will start at split end against the Redskins.
Impact: This will be the first game Burress has missed due to injury since 2006. Tom Coughlin says Plax has progressed and could play in Week 14 vs. Philly. The Giants may use a run-heavy game plan against a beat-up Redskins defense, but Hixon makes a decent WR3 gamble. He's proven he can play.

Reggie Bush - RB - New Orleans Saints - Nov 28 2008 4:41PM est
News: Reggie Bush (knee) is listed as questionable for Week 13, but Saints coach Sean Payton said Friday that he fully expects Bush to face the Bucs.
Impact: Bush's practice was limited, but he did the most work he's done since tearing his meniscus in Week 7 and made it through the week without setbacks. Expect Pierre Thomas to maintain a large role as New Orleans' short-yardage and change-of-pace back, but Bush to see 18-20 touches. The Saints likely wouldn't be bringing Bush back if they planned to "limit" him.

Willie Parker - RB - Pittsburgh Steelers - Nov 28 2008 4:36PM est
News: Willie Parker (knee) practiced without limitations for the second straight day Friday, but is listed as questionable for Week 13.
Impact: The Steelers and Patriots square off at 4:15PM ET Sunday. Fast Willie appears likely to play, but is only worth waiting for if you own Mewelde Moore too. While the Pats rank 14th in overall run defense, they've surrendered only six rushing TDs all year and have been stout of late. New England held Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams to just 58 yards on 16 carries in Week 12.

Matt Schaub - QB - Houston Texans - Nov 28 2008 4:20PM est
News: Texans coach Gary Kubiak told reporters this week that Matt Schaub (knee) "is a lot closer to playing right now than he was a week ago."
Impact: Schaub has resumed practicing on a limited basis and perhaps could return sooner than Houston's original Week 16 estimate. Sage Rosenfels will start Monday night against the Jags, but the Texans will likely see how Schaub has responded next week. If you're desperate, grabbing Schaub is a good idea.

A few last minute (and presumably last week before the playoffs) pickups, from EA Sports:

Garcia is primed for a big easy!
by Patrick Lamont, EA Expert

Renowned prognosticator “P-Track” Lamont is at it again letting you know who you should be starting and who you should be sitting in your crucial week 13 matchups…

Must Start Quarterback For Week 13

Jeff Garcia – Tampa Bay Bucs (vs. New Orleans Saints) – The Saints are coming off of a 51 point performance against what was being considered a good defense (Green Bay) so I’ll have to figure they’ll score some points in week 13. The Bucs defense, at home, is no easy task but this one could turn into a back-and-forth scoring fest in which case Jeff Garcia will have to play a big role. Look for Jerramy Stevens to continue his good play and for Antonio Bryant to put up a monster stat line, too.

P-Track Predicts: 24/37 – 310 YDs – 2 TDs.

Other Quarterbacks to Sit / Start...

Must Start Runningback For Week 13

Ryan Grant – Green Bay Packers (vs. Carolina Panthers) - “Ulysses S.” looked pretty good on MNF until his team had to completely abandon the run against the Saints. Grant had been running very well over his last five games and I expect him to pick up right where he left off against a very overrated Panthers’ defense. Green Bay will win this game and the running game will be a crucial component in doing so.

P-Track Predicts: 23 Carries/120 YDs/TD.

Other Runningbacks to Sit / Start...

Must Start Wide Receiver For Week 13

Antonio Bryant – Tampa Bay Bucs (vs. New Orleans Saints) – There are really only two receiving options in the Tampa offense these days (Bryant and TE Jerramy Stevens) and both are at the top of their respective games right now. And as good as the Bucs defense is, they are going to have to score points in this one. Bryant has been steady virtually all season but doesn’t have too many huge games under his belt – but all signs point to this one as a monster game. I’m going to predict a better fantasy stat-line for Bryant than Lance Moore. Wow!

P-Track Predicts: 7 RECs/110 YDs/TD.

Other Receivers to Sit / Start...

Must Start Tight End For Week 13

Dallas Clark – Indianapolis Colts (@ Cleveland Browns) – Clark probably still get started simply on name recognition but smart owners know he’s capable of putting up much better numbers than he has so far this year. But with 11 RECs over his last two games, you know at the very least he has Peyton Manning’s eye. Cleveland’s defense is terrible and will probably look to shut down Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison, leaving the middle of the field wide open for Dallas.

P-Track Predicts: 6 RECs/65 YDs/TD.

Other Tight Ends to Sit / Start...

PS to Kerry Collins: You're a bum.

Last minute news! Both Jacobs and S. Jax are active - for now.

Kellen Winslow - TE - Cleveland Browns - Nov 30 2008 11:50AM est
News: Kellen Winslow is active against Indianapolis on Sunday and in the Browns' starting lineup.
Impact: He should be able to exploit any seams in the Colts' Tampa 2 and makes for a strong TE1 play despite the loss of Brady Quinn for the season.

Plaxico Burress - WR - New York Giants - Nov 30 2008 11:48AM est
News: Plaxico Burress will reportedly surrender to New York police to address his legal issues by as soon as Monday.
Impact: "We will make arrangements for Mr. Burress to be present," Plax's lawyer said. "He's not running away from this. He intends to deal with this responsibly." The lawyer added that Burress is "physically okay and thank God it was not a serious injury." Plax is in danger of serious jail time if it's found he was in possession of an unlicensed gun when he shot himself.

Reggie Bush - RB - New Orleans Saints - Nov 30 2008 11:44AM est
News: Reggie Bush (knee) is active for Week 13 against the Bucs.
Impact: Bush has missed five weeks and was listed as questionable on the injury report, so his workload may be somewhat limited. Bush figures to lose snaps and particularly short-yardage work to Pierre Thomas, but had a big game against Tampa Bay way back in Week 1 and can safely be used as a RB2.

Clinton Portis - RB - Washington Redskins - Nov 30 2008 11:39AM est
News: Clinton Portis is active for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Impact: The Redskins called Portis "50-50" to play late in the week, but there was never serious concern that he'd miss this game. The Redskins' offensive line is intact with LT Chris Samuels slated to start. In what projects to be a run-heavy affair, Portis should be in fantasy lineups as an RB1.

Brandon Jacobs - RB - New York Giants - Nov 30 2008 11:39AM est
News: Brandon Jacobs is active for Sunday's tilt with the Redskins.
Impact: Jacobs practiced in full on both Thursday and Friday and is slated to start at Washington. Because of poor weather conditions, the Giants figure to run it at least 30 times in this one. Jacobs should get 18-20 carries.

Steven Jackson - RB - St. Louis Rams - Nov 30 2008 11:35AM est
News: Steven Jackson is active for Week 13 against Miami.
Impact: Reports say he should be effective and get around 16-17 carries, which is enough to make Jackson a strong RB2 despite a less than ideal matchup. While he's no lock to make it through all four quarters, Jackson has the ability to overcome tough defenses. The return of Orlando Pace also will help.

Steven Jackson - RB - St. Louis Rams - Nov 30 2008 11:01AM est
News: ESPN's John Clayton reports that Steven Jackson (quads) should be healthy enough to get 16-17 carries Sunday against Miami.
Impact: Clayton expects Jackson to play and says he should be "pretty effective" despite being slightly less than 100 percent. Jackson has reportedly been getting his explosion back. He should be in fantasy lineups for now, but check back in a half hour to make certain Jackson is active.

Here was this weeks lineup for me with their points scored:

D. Brees QB 20 points
S. Jackson RB 10 points
D. Williams RB 32 points
G. Jennings WR 17 points
D. Mason WR 15 points
L. Moore WR 7 points
R. Bironas K 17points
Packers DST 4 ponts
Total 122 points

Pretty good week, huh? Score 122 points and you feel pretty confident, right? WRONG. I lost 124-122. We both outscored every other player by 30 points or more, and I lose by 2. Bastard had Romo and Westbrook and had 90 points on Thursday... oh the frustration.
Luckily, I have the 2nd seed and a 1st round bye locked up, so I am hopeful for the playoffs. $3000 to the winner...
