I would like to know as well. It would be a blast to get to go out and drive one of those things.

I'm sure it was better than my Kyle Petty experience yesterday when he failed to make the grid and I lost about 70 points as a result!

It was really cool, but too short. I went to the Nazareth Speedway in PA to do it, which is a 1 mile tri-oval. After some classroom instruction, you get in your car by yourself and there is a pro driver in a car in front of you. Depending on how well you keep your line and how well you keep up on his bumper, he will go faster. It works pretty well in that the slower people that are not comfortable going fast get led around at their pace. Of course, I pushed him to go faster each lap

I would like to do it again on a bigger track (like Pocono)so I can get a higher top speed, but it definitely gives you a good feel for the car and its' abilities. Another takeaway was a newfound respect for the drivers abilities and athleticism. I like to think I am in decent shape, regularly play sports and am the fastest guy on my softball team, but after only 8 laps, I was drenched in sweat and my heart rate was way up. There is no break in there and it must be 120 in the car. How these guys spend 4 hours like that and are able to concentrate the whole time is impressive.

I have no idea if I have a good lineup this time. I'm too lazy to look up stats from last year's race to know who's good and who isn't. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens on race day!
