I have played Fantasy Nascar on Yahoo for the past 3 seasons. I placed second in my league last year and it came down to the final race.

It is an interesting system. You can pick your drivers in three tiers: one from group A (which includes the best drivers); two from group B (the middle of the pack guys); and one from group C (the rookies and lesser-known drivers). You score points by your drivers qualifying result, finishing order and lead laps. But the trick is that you can only use each driver a limited number of times. In our league you could use each driver only 9 times during the season. So you need to use a lot of strategy. In other words, you can't just pick Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon every week from your group A.

It is actually a lot of fun and makes the races much more interesting to watch. There is actually a fantasy F1 league that I joined over at F-Chat. We should organize a league like that here!

 

If you get that going here, you will forever be my hero! We should talk to DJ and see if we can set up some sort of prize system for the winner(s).
