Not that, just saying that you cant say how good something is just by years of "advancement". And the only nissan Id call skyline is R-34, maybe R-33 when done properly. Rest is just plain meh....in my opinion.

And I wanna see what stig does with GT-R on their track, that be fare to compare to other cars.

i don't think the GTR's dsg box can handle 800+HP, it may be why nissan is so hell bent on curbing any aftermarket tuning to this car. i may be wrong but only time will tell. i would have confidence in the manual they will put in the v spec though, the previous getrag boxes were plenty stout.

Here is an Idea... how about we import the real Skyline. That would make me happy

i would get one for sure if that were the case

If I had to import one, it would be this one. But it belongs to Jab (CondorCGT) and I have a feeling it is NOT for sale

The old R series and rally GT-Four versions were some of the toughest cars Toyota ever produced, though in a way Nissan appears to be pulling the same thing Toyota did-- selling a cut rate car on the bones of a great one.
