Reports so far have it coming in at sub 1400kgs, or probably slightly less than 3,000 lbs. I think final numbers for the production version are still a ways off.
I typically prefer high strung normally aspirated engines over those with forced induction. Linear power, less complexity, and less heat generated among other reasons.

No, I mean like at which car show will it be shown for the first time in flesh for the crowd. I heard that it won't be on the IAA in Frankfurt.

Turbo motor = more power from lower weight. Turbo technology has gotten to the point where lag is non-existent and power delivery is linear. A 3.8 turbo motor with 600 hp is also going to deliver a good slug or torque at lower rpms as compared to a highly strung NA motor. It would take at least 5.5 litres if not a 6 litre v-12 to produce the kind of power this 3.8 TT v-8 is making, resulting in considerably more weight.
