Its growing on me although I think it looks kind of feminine or soft if you will.
When the driving impressions and road tests come out then we will see what it is really made of. If it can elicit 1/5 of the driving experience that the F1 delivers then I am willing to look past any lack of looks.

I am willing to wager that the reviews of this new McLaren are going to be filled with statements like; "razor sharp turn-in" "it almost feels as if I am connected to the car, especially the steering" "possibly the best handling car I have ever driven" "Unbelievable powertrain that delivers rocket like acceleration from barely above tickover to its stratospheric 8,500 rpm redline" "It combines all of the best qualities of the Exige 240, the NXS-R, and the Carrera GT and the result is nothing short of spectacular" "A true driver's car in every sense of the word" "Its spartan interior give the driver everything they need, nothing more, and does so with high quality, perfectly weighted controls and switches"
Mark my words, this new McLaren will be monumental. In this day an age of glitz, flash, wings, visible carbon fiber, scoops, fins, hard edges, and excessive horsepower, this car will be a breath of fresh air.
The more I see and read of it, the more I love it.

I think it looks very nice! Sure it isn't the most unique thing I've ever seen, it may not look like an enzo or a zonda, but its not designed to compete with those cars anyways (although I bet it could). The fact that McLaren has expanded its line up is a great. This car is in direct competion with the gallardo and 458 and can easily compete with the LP640, 599 along with anything from porsche and what not from any other car maker.
They have started to expand in a business of producing world class cars at different price points as opposed to b4 (1 car over a million bucks and only produced for what 5 years at the most?). To this day I have a poster on my wall of a McLaren F1 LM for many reasons (looks and performance that were unmatched, well maybe not the looks but the performance sure was).
I understand diccomafia's complaint about the 2 seats as any true Mclaren fan remembers the F1 had 3 seats, 1 in the middle (which I wish this car had) and 2 behind the driver). I'm hoping the top of the range model will incorporate this.
Rep for the OP and rep for Peloton 25 for the good pshop skills
