Same principles. I stack the db's I use on some 35lb db's to give me a contact point (bumper) to start the pull.

Spent an hour on the foam roller last night trying to get my back and hamstrings loosened up. It appears that i have been somewhat successful!

Yesterday worked out chest and then did spin.

Went up to 215lb in my 5x5 routine. Struggled HARD. Got through the first 3 sets, and then struggled on sets 4 and 5.

Sunday I did a 42mi bike ride, was amazing.

Safe to say my ass was killing me all day yesterday, and was probably a poor decision to do spin.

I have HBO premiere party tomorrow. Need to hit it very hard today... Back/Shoulders and probs 45min on stairmaster.

You are not human. Simple as that.

WTF.

75 pull ups with a 45 plate?!?! Are you going to full lock-out??

Dude, I cannot even do 75 pull-ups without added weight...

I can barely do 4 sets of 10 lmao. I'm getting better though...

Yeah, I lock out completely, but I also kip. I regularly do a pull-up workout of 25, 20, 15, 10, 10, 5, 5, 5, 5 for a 100 total. That smokes me...

I'm tired reading that. Gotta respect it but can't wait until you are 40

With kids

Sweet Jesus! I wish I could do as many pull-ups. In time, I guess, they're a hell of a lot easier after shedding all that extra fat I can tell you that much!

Been taking it easier on the cardio as I think I've been overworking my previously injured joints and they're starting to act up again. Thankfully though, my weight hasn't changed, which I guess means that I'm doing A-OK as far as maintaining goes! It's a long process though, and I gotta make sure my waist doesn't change by next summer. That would be disastrous.

Good day in the bag room today...any day where I get to beat something up is a good day.

Alot of it has to do with technique. Kipping is a big part of it.

Raiff is a freak though for sure. He was doing 48" "box jumps" the night we were out in Houston LOL.
