raiff, hats off to the pull ups bro!
i've been busy at work and not going to the gym, weight back up ~187lbs but that's expected with how i've been eating and i'm okay with it being my "off" weight, goal is to be 176lbs next february so i really have no excuse

It actually seems to vary from person to person. I prefer dead hang as well. I've seen some people very good at kipping that can do twice as many as me in half the time though. Kipping pull ups are a more efficient way to do high reps IF you do them properly.
