Headed to the gym to work out some kinks in the back... Heavy heavy high-rep dead lifts yesterday, so I will take it easier today.

Today's 9/11 tribute WOD. I'll say it was one of the hardest things I've ever done. 1100 reps and 2 miles of running. The mile at each end signifies the twin towers. 10 rounds for 10 years and 11 reps of 9 exercises. Fastest time was 1:29 ..... I was slightly behind at 2:05. Walking WILL be a challenge tomorrow.

Yeah, that looks pretty tough Ben. I just went and got some of my 9/11 hatred out in the gym after eating a light dinner. I put on my 45# plate carrier and did 75 pull-ups, 150 box jumps ranging from 24"-40," and then 75 cleans of 155#. Today was a very tough day for me all around, not to mention that it is 9/11 and I am in Iraq...

Any of you guys do deadlifts with dumbbells instead of a barbell? If so, any tips?

Dumbbells are much more important to focus on your form since your stabilizing individually; start with a light warm up set, review your form and make sure that your moving through the motion correctly as well as don't overweight yourself or your asking for huge back problems

Yeah brother, go lighter to start out with DB dead lifts. That is my only advice.
