Had a few drinks last night for the first time in two weeks since I started my new murderous routine and diet. And god-freakin-damn.... alcohol really is poison. I don't recall being this hung over when I drank regularly, and usually had a LOT more to drink too. Yiesh. I may never touch alcohol again after this.

Correction: I may never touch alcohol again unless Ludwig is buying.

Wait a second, since when am I branded a raging alcoholic?!??! Jokes aside though, I am definitely getting more restrictive now. Ever since I got a little stake in a winery with some friends a few years back, the consumption has gone way up with the easy access (the bottles literally arrive at your doorstep).

Just tried to offset the hangover with a protein shake, a multivitamin and a ton of water. So far ... it's not working. At least it's raining like mad again today so I can blame the weather for not going out for a run

I try to run and bike outside whenever possible. Yesterday the run was cut short by 2 dogs that just didn't want to run with me. They normally love it. I had to ride my spin bike late because we had dinner at my parents.
I prefer all outdoors when I can.

When you're eating healthy, alcohol hits you much harder. Its doubly bad if you're doing low carb. Tuesday night I had 8 beers and was out till 4:30am. That's not a ton of beer for me, but I had enough of a hangover/sleep dep yesterday that I didn't work out.

I'll make up for it today, got weights and we're hitting the swim center later.
