The Official TS Workout & Nutrition Thread
#654
Did my last workout, vaca starts tomorrow. Worked up to 215x1 on bench which is 10 lbs away from my raw max a few years back. (I've always been a weak bencher, skinny arms and all that) 5/3/1 is no joke, I've only been at it a month (maybe 6 weeks, I'm bad with time) and I'm approaching a PR in a regular workout.

good workout today, delts and traps
cardio was great, getting a lot easier since i have been resting i guess
i will say however, watching natalie portman in a movie + cardio do not go together. i was aiming to pedal 10km today, but i had a ridiculous hard-on and had to stop at 6km
obviously i couldn't possibly change the channel, or else i would have to hand in my mancard at the door of this thread

bwahahaha^^^
Yesterday for cardio I did the stairmaster for just over 20 minutes, rather than the elliptical... holy FAWK it's harder than it looks. Did 92 flights of stairs, and I was drenched in sweat. Kinda liked it, think im gonna do it again

gln, definitely!!!
set it to Fatburner mode, put in your weight, set the time to 10mins, and the level from 8-12 at first to break in your knees and set your pace
i personally found the best results with sticking to level 15 (regardless of machine) but bare in mind that some machines keep each "speed"/"level" for 10secs OR 20secs -TOTALLY different wkout- so try it out and see what suits you best
if you loved stairmaster, you should look into jumping rope

Capped the week (little under 10km in the pool) with a 50 miler on the bike. Heavy headwinds in the OC today! Decent climbing, I'm getting better but still a long way from being Fabian.
