First day back in the gym in a week... fvvvvck it felt amazing to be back.

Killer work out.

I feel overall as I was set back a little, as I feel like I'm currently bloated and holding an extra 4 pounds or so....

New progress pic... Probs not as ripped up as my last pic, but this pic is cold and at rest compared to my last one which was post-workout.

breakfast 2 scoops of banana protein, 1cup of fiberone, strawberries, blueberries, micro crea, glutamine... yum.

I was wearing Ryka's Transitions I think they are called. Switched to Frees.

I would caution you against using anything that simulates barefoot running if you are having shin splint like issues. I developed them sprinting and jumping and had to switch back to Airmax 360s. While I absolutely prefer Frees and the like for several reasons, it definitely relieved my shin issues, which was more important at the time.

Knocked out 335x5 DLs. Next stop 355

Wow, that's interesting. I actually didn't realize the Free's were meant to simulate barefoot. They were under cross trainers and I didn't read reviews or anything because I had tried them on in the store. They are really comfortable but I guess I need more cushioning. Thanks, now I have an excuse to buy another pair of shoes

I have a pair I wore in Boot camp. That's when the shin trouble began. I think it's just me, tbh. I have strong legs but not a lot of flesh on my shins.

Yep. They do have a cross trainer but it's the same technology. Frees are amazing comfortable, I love them. But especially when I started doing weighted sprints, my shins slowly started to get worse and I finally switched back to a more stable/cushioned shoe. I need to get a new pair of Frees to work out in.
