I was bored with my KB workout and for some reason the 50 rep thing Jason posted was stuck in my head so I did (with 35 lb KB):

50 bicep curls
50 KB swings
50 lunges
50 OHP
50 squats
50 tricep extensions
50 crunches

Not anything like as hard as the filthy fifty workout, but still fun.

I also bought $145 of food, that should last 3-4 days. FML, there are many days I wish I put on weight more easily.

Way to go, Steve! Looks like you had a good workout too!

No vomit was produced but I came damn close when I was doing those burpees. Took all I had to keep it down. My final time was 20 minutes and 17 seconds. I don't want to do that one again for a while!

Nice job not puking, I've done that once during a workout (20 rep breathing squats) and its no fun.

When you guys do burpees are they the standard squat down, push up, back up or do you jump?

I did the full burpee deal. Chest touching floor then pushing up to a hop with a clap then down and up again. Not all at once though. 10, 15, 10, 10 then 5 painful ones. I felt each and every one of them. Ugh.

Burpees are chest to floor and the jump with a clap. No real push up involved, really just catching yourself before the ground and springing back up.

Ahh, how I miss that Coronado Bay. I spent many months training in that cold bastard...

Now I'm confused, this is a burpee:

I'm not sure why he thinks that there's no pushup involved. There is...that's the part I like. I hate the hopping up/clapping part.

I should have been more specific. For the games, chest needs to hit the ground and fingers need to touch the bar (or whatever your using) and thats all that matters. The pushup isn't needed. Just drop and pop back up.

When we do them as a part of a normal WOD, the pushup is there.
