1. The Porsche is made by the biggest R&D department in automotive industry. The Pagani in a fancy italian garage.
The "fancy Italian garage" is a small factory.
2. The Porsche has a race derived engine, prooved in lmp2 for several seasons. the Pagani borrows old school AMG engine... Kit car comments, please?
Nope, the AMG engine in the Huayra is built specifically for the Huayra. No other car uses it yet. So by your definition, the Mclaren F1 is a kit car too? It's engine was made by BMW..
3. The Porsche already covered thousands of miles of testing-even this 1mil car is made to be driven-amazing! I want to see a single italian supercar which has covered half the distance, without beeing torn to pieces or even burned!
The Huayra was required to cover a million km by regulations.
4. Last time, when Pagani wanted to compete with Porsche supercar (cgt), it needed several additional years and several additional models to reach that level.
Erm.. it did?
5. The Pagani is more than ugly-period!
Subjective.
6. And last, but not least-918 is made to be automotive perfection in superior way. Pagani is nice combination of "exclusive" parts-leather, carbon trims, fancy vents and so on. Nice hype, but not a better car in any way...
Nope, almost every nut and bolt used on the Huayra was made for the Huayra.
One retarded fan...
It isn't about fanboyism. It's fine that you prefer the Porsche to the Pagani, they're both very fine cars. But you don't need to make ignorant comments and a bunch of crap up to get others to agree with you.

That is not quite right. The engine the Huayra uses is based on Mercedes Benz engine M275 (612hp). The engine for the Huayra has product number M158 (730hp).

Backed by AMG and Mercedes and the Huayra has done millions of miles.

Like the others said you have no ****in clue what your talking about.
3. The Porsche already covered thousands of miles of testing-even this 1mil car is made to be driven-amazing! I want to see a single italian supercar which has covered half the distance, without beeing torn to pieces or even burned!
World Exclusive: Pagani Zonda 760RS driven! evo Diaries - YouTube
Over a million km´s, and the Zondas are known to be low maintnance and many have done a shit load of miles.
4. Last time, when Pagani wanted to compete with Porsche supercar (cgt), it needed several additional years and several additional models to reach that level.
The CGT came out 2003, and the Zonda 1999, so if you compare those 2 you must be out of your mind. Rather compare the F to the CGT.. And you have it on paper which one was faster
5. The Pagani is more than ugly-period!
As i ask all others, have you seen it in reality?
6. And last, but not least-918 is made to be automotive perfection in superior way. Pagani is nice combination of "exclusive" parts-leather, carbon trims, fancy vents and so on. Nice hype, but not a better car in any way...
Again you are clueless, its sad to witness your ignorance.

The Mercedes-Benz M275 (and similar M285) engine is a twin-turbocharged and intercooled, all-aluminum, 60° V12 automobile piston engine family used in the 2000s (decade)Bore is 82 mm and stroke is 87 mm giving a displacement of 5.5 L (5513 cc). Output is 493 hp (373 kW) at 5000 rpm with 590 ft.lbf (800 Nm) of torque at 1800-3500 rpm. Applications: S600 - CL600 - SL600
The M275 AMG is a 6.0 L (5980 cm³) version, with boost pressure reaching 22.1 psi (1.52bar) at maximum, and uses air-to-liquid intercoolers. Bore is 82.6 mm and stroke is increased to 93 mm. Output is 604 hp (450 kW) at 4800-5100 rpm with 738 ft·lbf (1000 N·m) of torque at 2000-4000 rpm. It uses an ECI ignition system for the two spark plugs per cylinder, which helps with combustion and to support Ionic current measurement function sequence. The top of the range variant fitted in the SL65 AMG Black Series generates 670 hp (500 kW) at 4800-5400 rpm and 738 ft·lbf (1000 N·m) of torque at 2000-4200 rpm.
The M158 is a 6.0&nbs;pL (5980 cc) version based on the M275 AMG. The engine uses smaller turbos (for reduced turbo-lag), re-programmed ECU, modified intercooler configuration and dry sump lubrication. It produces 720 horsepower (537 kW)[1] and 1,000 N·m (740 lb·ft) of torque. AMG builds this engine specifically for Pagani Automobili for use in their Huayra supercar.
Applications: 2012–present Pagani Huayra

I think you mean I need to teach you about automobiles. You can do this yourself, make sure when you make statements you have some data or information to back them up. Do some research and you would know better then to call the Pagani a kit car.

Not exactly correct either see other post above he is correct as well my statement was referring to the fact that no other AMG automobile uses that engine in that form , it is Bespoke (custom tailored)

Oh man I may just be a kid, but to me the choice is clear- and my choice would be the Huayra. The car is just such a work of art and I like that in a hyper car. I like to see the passion in the design and the workmanship. I'm not saying that the 918 is a shoddy car, it's just I feel it's more of a reach towards an uncertain future in the world of automobiles and in that it loses its passion as a brutal, raw hyper car. The Huayra feels like a perfection, to me, of the current state of cars- a nice blend of engineering and artistry without too much a dive into the electronic/hybrid world that is sure to come. I don't know how it feels to drive either, but I feel like the Huayra would be more of a treasure to you in the future compared to the 918. Just my two cents. Also, just for kicks, check out this video of the Huayra, it's mesmerizing.
