Share your thoughts (918 Spyder or Huayra)

Hey Guys,
I'm new to the forum. I've been a reading and enjoying a lot of the posts here.

I'm seriously considering the 918 or the Huayra. Please share your thoughts.

My thoughts:
Huayra: Incredible performance, attention to details, But I Spend a lot of my time in Canada, and I'm concerned about how complicated it might be to care for this car since Pagani has no dealers here.

Porsche 918: I personally think is 1 of the most beautiful cars ever! Incredible/complex technology. I'm simply just worried about how badly it might depreciate ( or maybe not really as speculated by many here)

Lets have a fun chat.

Thanks

I too fell in love with the 918. My problem is that I just don't think it merits the price they are asking. Maybe I'm wrong in my assessment and it sells out completely. But if I'm correct them that car will be depreciating significantly in the years to come. However, I do feel that it's absolutely stunning.

918 Spyder out of those two! But wait until the McLaren P1 and Ferrari F150 are released as they're set to be just as innovative as the Porsche!

I agree the Mac P1 and Ferrari F150 will be incredible, both would most likely have more performance abilities than the 918, but i do not believe the complexity of the technology would be comparable to the 918.

I feel a lot of people do not understand how complex the tech in the 918 is, and to achieve such level of performance with that type of technology is incredible. Imagine the calibration involved in making 2 electric motors and a combustion engine work together as one.
I also feel with the porsche you get almost several cars in one. It looks gorgeous as a spyder or a coupe, a true hybrid super sports car.

Maybe it will take some time before more People will understand this car. I'm also pretty sure the finished car will be beyond what anyone has heard of it so far.

Sounds like you already talked yourself into the 918. Make a special one with the blue metalic paint or something. I believe it will depreciate a bit. Not sure how much. It's a $1m Porsche, so it has to go down.
