-Ferrari 250 California
-Jaguar E-Type
-Mercedes 300SL
-Ferrari F40
-Aston Martin DBR1

Despite not having a special like for Ferrari (on the contrary), both the F40 and the 250 California are, imo, absolutely unmissable on this list.

Unrestored (or barely) 57 S/C Atalante. I'd drive it like that. God yes.

F40 LM (real or converted, don't care). No explanation needed.

HZJ 75. I lust after a real Land Cruiser as much as the F40 above. Absolute tank.

Pre bumper 911. Doesn't have to be an RS Or McQueen's or anything fancy. Beautiful light-footed balanced classic. On Fuchs. Done deal.

McLaren F1. I needed a V12. I like that it's a small car. Gotta have the door mounted mirrors.

Can't believe there is no Lambo V12, Zonda or Carrera GT in there.

I could swap the early 911 for a 993TT. I could live with that.
Macca could be swapped for Zonda F or F50. I can't have a top5 list without a V12!
Land Cruiser could be swapped for a pre-electronics diesel Defender 110.
Atalante and F40LM? Can't re replaced.

Has anyone listed any late 60's concepts? Wow, i was lookin back at some of my dads old magazines from car shows, surprised none of those really retro thoughts came into play i mean especially the cars that had the twin bubble cockpit.

To this day, it still sets the standard for the most extreme, loud, scary, awesome, beautiful car ever to sit on the showroom floor of a neighborhood dealership. That is saying quite a bit considering the L88 Vette's, Vipers, ZR1's, etc that followed it. They are all tame compared to the belching, fire breathing, monster that is the 427 Cobra. Despite its beastly personality, to this day the 427 Cobra stands as one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

I am a Porsche fanatic, and if my list were extended to the top 10 cars ever built, the 365 and the CGT would be on that list.

However, IMHO in my top 5 list, the CGT would have to bump the F1 off. With all due respect to Porsche and the CGT, the F1 is a superior car in almost every measure. I do say this as an "arm chair" author, as I have only driven one of the cars on my list (427 Cobra, and not even a real one at that ) and most importantly have not driven a CGT or F1, but if you were to line the two of them up, spec for spec, piece for piece, the F1 is superior to the CGT in every way except for looks where the CGT has is beat hands down.
