Jox, I love your list. The W124 is just as awesome as the RS2 Avant. The Lancia goes well on the list too. There are really just too many good cars to make a list of 5, and I already made my list so I'm just gonna list a few honorable mentions.

De Tomaso Mangusta
Ferrari 355
Porsche 904
Abarth 595 (1963)
VW Golf GTI MK1
Any Audi RS* Avant
Porsche Boxster Spyder
Porsche 993

CGT to me is the only exotic car that supplies me with adrenaline desire and a look I never grow tired. Porsches racing history makes me love it even more. To me no one has done the world of racing better than Porsche. They are present in almost every venue and have won so many races Not one other manufacturer comes close.

330's for me are along a long line of vintage Ferrari's I love. The 275 and 33o's are cars that are fathomable to me. Possibly the 250 lusso. Do I think the 250gtb swb is the sexiest car ever madeby Ferrari? Yes. Is a 12 million dollar car in my sites? Never. I will never spend 8 figures on a vehicle and most likely never 7 figures. That's a lot of smackers for an engine. I've also never thought the 250 gto's mentioned were that intriguing so I'm glad I will never have the spare 30 million to buy one

Singer whether a chopped hot rod or not speaks to me. The car is physically brilliant in every aspect. While a 400k 73rs would be the bomb and a car I've had on my list for a very long time. I know my spoiled rotten right foot would long for more power and I'd forever be wanting.

Defender 90. The car to me is the top dog 4x4 on the planet sand it's by far IMHO the best looking by far. Useless for daily with kids. Too hard to get in and out but I've loved them forever. I hope to have mine forever. It's my third and last.

997 gt3rs. Haven't I spewed enough about how good these cars are? It's the best sportscar on the planet. It is and anyone that disagrees is wrong

I like the gen 1's for looks although Jox is correct in thinking the 993 turbo is also Beautiful but I think of all 911 gt3's made the gen 1 tops them.

Do I believe the new 4.0 is a better driver? Hell yes I'd bet I wouldn't want to drive my gen 1 ever again. My issue is looks. I hate that Ricer Wing. Useful? Who cares its not good. It's too big and needs a re- think in my book.

So my list isn't what I'd buy with unlimited funds. It's the cars that speak to me. You guys can keep the one off no racing history crap out of Zonda and ksegg and the likes as those will only say I've got no history but buy me I'm expensive.

There as I've also stated are just too many fantastic cars to narrow a list to five. It's impossible.

Cars listed on others that are fricking cool out of this world as well

Cobra. Damn they are sexy

Miura. The only Lambo in the world worth more than a buck. Sexy with class. The new stuff drives like shit and all looks the same.

FGT. those cars are awesome looking. Fun to drive tho hard to see out of in my book the only flaw

73rsr. Woah if I had the funds and garage space. The heritage amazing.

917. See above

MClaren F1 truly is the first super car and should be mentioned. They are cool for sure I just think I'd pick many others first.

Truly any variation of 911 made I like excluding 1999-2005

Again, let me re-iterate. Any list not inclusive of the CGT is wrong and I will delete those posts from here on out.

My list does not include the CGT nor does it include any Porsche. Most are brilliant drivers but beyond that very few if any check more than that particular box for me. Best of the Porsches I have driven would have to be the 997 GT3 (including RS) or 997 GT2. I like the vintage RSRs but not one is even close to being in my top 5.

1. F40. Grew up with this poster on my wall. Go kart on massive steroids? Hope I get to drive one some day.
2. Cobra Daytona - LeMans racing history/beating Ferrari
3. 62 250 GTO 4L - one of the prettiest cars in the world, at least that I have seen/been in.
4. 67 Corvette L88 - pinnacle of muscle cars, easily the best of the Sting Rays
5. Tie between Lancia Delta S4 (the car that basically ended Group B) and Ford RS200. Have always loved Group B rally cars.

Zondas are definitely "busy", but i love them. I always loved custom or made to order stuff, i never liked the idea of having something that looks like the next person's.

For instance, my favorite CGT of them all is CondorGT's, why, because he's the only one with that color.

Earlier this year, i started reading up on Duesenbergs and started appreciating them more and more, I wish someone would bring them back. I just loved the idea of, buying the engine and chassis, taking it to a coachbuilder for a body and interior of your choice, so no 2 Duesys are alike.

Look at this one below.

The reason I chose the 993TT and essentially no "modern" day sports/supercar is that apart from a very select few, pretty much no cars over the last 15-20 years have been revolutionary or ground-breaking (CGT, Veyron etc are exceptions), and are becoming more and more the same (458 / MP4 for example).

Is a GT3RS the best sports car today? Yep, probably. But the GT3 is only slightly better than the previous model, and the next one will be slightly better than that. That is not the "best car ever made", that only makes it "the best GT3 over the next 4-5 years". The E30 M3 was at the time better than what the RS 4.0 is today, when people still daily drove Nissan Cherrys and a DeLorean was considered a sports car. And is the F10 M5, with its faux speaker engine sound, a better car than an E34 M5? Technologically, yes. But for anything else, never.
