For seven figures, the wheels HAD BETTER NOT CRACK.

A veyron in the UK recently sold for £625,000 and that was a low mileage car.
The dealers are doing their best to keep prices high but a number cars have been sitting in showrooms for over a year.
What will the Veyron market look like in ten years time? These cars could be on their third or forth owner by then.
Bugatti will not allow an aftermarket to emerge to service or provide parts for these cars so the silly cost that now exist will only get worse as the cars get older. In effect Bugatti could be the architects of their own demise.
Which then begs the question, who is going to be in the market for a five to ten year old Veyron when the running costs will be higher than they are today? And what will one be worth in ten years time? I have no idea.
Will they be regarded as classics, and therefore be cherished as the last of their type. I'm not sure as such a large numbers will have been built. This is one car I have no idea about how the future market will evolve, but I suspect it wont be pretty.

^ Interesting thoughts indeed. I personally fail to see that this will become a true sought after classic like an F1 or an F40. Bugatti does have amazing heritage as a brand, but the Veyron has nothing to do with it. This will probably fall into the Porsche 959 bracket - brilliant and innovative car, but nobody really wants it today.

Bah! I'll bet you ten to one that the oil filter is a standard Volkswagen piece. The spark plugs for it also fit a Jetta.
