I think one of the biggest losers of the tournament was Asamoah Gyan from Ghana who failed to score the most important penalty he and his team ever had. He had the chance to bring his team to the semi-finals. That would have been the first time ever, that an african made it that far in a WC. I read an interview where he said that he is a broken man now.
