beside i am fine with that as long as he keeps playing at the level he does for barca....

 

Yeah, it's not a knock on Messi, I think he is a fantastic player, I just dont think he lived up to what everyone thought he would do.

 

i think his surgery/injuries gave him a pass, let's not get too critical here.

 

I'm not so sure, some of the clubs that were looking to make big money moves for Torres this summer are now backing off. Both Man City and Chelsea were looking to make a big offer for him, but based on some reports I've read, his performance has caused them to back off a bit.

He's a great player and more than likely he'll move, I just think his performance in the WC has to be looked at as lack luster. If his injuries were still affecting his game, then he probably shouldnt have played, but he did and it wasnt pretty.

 

It's not like it's new to him is it? I think he is a fantastic player but he didn't deliver in the WC, period.
