Its playoff time. I have mixed feelings about this year's playoffs. To help make myself feel better about this year's Laker title chances, I looked up the regular season records of the Laker teams from their three-peat run from 99-02;

99-00 - 67-15 (15-8 in the playoffs)
00-01 - 56-26 (15-1 in the playoffs)
01-02 - 58-24 (15-4 in the playoffs)

Personally, I think the 00-01 team was the strongest of the post-Magic era Laker teams. Its all about "flipping the switch" and playing well when it matters. We'll see if this team can do it.

Ha ha - The Lakers had me worried with the Thunder... Good thing Kobe decided to throw down against the Jazz.

 

My wife keeps telling me to shave the 'stache and after seeing myself on TV, I have to agree with her....

Celtics owning leCrab and his merry men. Its very fun seeing these eastern conference teams throw down to get to the finals.

As far as the Lakers go... if We play the way all of us Laker fans know we can play, nobody can beat us.

P.s. Just to give some insight on how bad Kobe's finger injury is, take this with a grain of salt, since I got the info from somebody i trust. The finger is basically broken in 3 different places and is not anywhere near healthy. The guy is manning up and playing, appreciate it boys
