car looks great when clean: headlamps need to be redone (they offer it here at the AD), stereo won't start, passenger side window won't roll down from driver's side. would roll from passenger side though.
that is about it so far
tip working fine
smooth from p,r,n,d
gauges all give positive readings
xenon lights is a plus
interior is well maintained, leather not teared anywhere. steering wheel bit worn out. carpets though are not perfect. perhaps navy carpets are called for if i convert the car to a riviera blue
ext colour and wheels are growing on me, i can see myself living with it as i accumulate funds on the side for it
unfortunately the AD will not let me test drive the car before the owner speaks to them. he did of course tell me it is okay last night, but i respect the AD's decision.
if i test drive it tomorrow, it is a 85% lock

things are looking up. presumably all that needs to be done is renew the car's papers before being able to transfer them into my name (papers expired in 2009 lol). WISHING i can have the papers in my name tonight and pay him and be done. the owner is truly a piece of work.
will leave you with these pics until further updates.
two 965s. the one with the rear shot had 2 tires punctured, and it seems that a lot of oil is leaking
a very nice 993 tts (not sure if real or bodykit), still same one as i have been seeing for 2 weeks parked
i started a thread over at rennlist, which i will copy here just in case anyone can help please
1. i would like to have deep-lip wheels, no larger than 18" all around. and i am a fan of the 17" front 18" rear set-up.
any pointers/deals i should be aware of? links welcome (int'l shipping is a must, to kuwait)
2. should i be looking anywhere other than eBay to find the following:
a. clear (white) front markers/turn signals
b. red corner tail lights
c. clear (white) turn signal on the fenders (i think this is Euro-only)
3. for mechanical/electric spare parts, is there a website that i should be aware of and trustworthy with great customer service? i am talking about everything from spark plugs to a complete 993 manual where i can browse part numbers <- like Ricambi for ferrari

i am just hoping the papers (eldaftar) is ready today i really REALLY want to be over with it before thursday (the wkend here)

dropped my ID at his house so he can take care of the paperwork it's almost 7pm now so i will be VERY lucky if he calls me now. i'm guessing tomorrow morning i should have the papers and go to the AD to take it home. wish me luck guys.
MM sorry i missed your call, returned it. BBS LM wheels are not deep-lip + i would prefer a 5 spoke. my "safe 18" bet" are the carrera iii wheels
i googled the Speedline, are those the same as the 964 turbo!?! will they fit a narrow body 993? pics?
