i bid on a pair of red tails for 140 euros, but then shipping to kuwait was 300 euros

i reckoned why deal with the whole mess, get everything bnib and oem. this is what i was quoted from carnewal.com

P93101 Clear side markers : 20 Euro/pair
P93015 Clear turn signals : 108 Euro/pair
P93164 TurboS air scoops with LEDs : 295 Euro/pair
P93031 C2S split grill : : 295 Euro
P93053 Red tail lights : 292 Euro/pair
P93043 : RS front chin spoilers : 552 Euro/pair
Shipping for all parts : 110 Euro

the rs spoilers are way overpriced imo, flame suit on, i would be happy with a fibreglass aftermarket product. so i am not ordering it

everything else, i am going ahead with. hopefully can "refund" some when i can sell my parts (amber turns, tails, sides, and normal fogs) so if anyone is interested let me know

edit: i ordered this aerokit spoiler, don't think the car would look right with the TTS fogs/C2S split spoiler without a sportier front

the RS front spoiler has a curved upwards lip

sun pics to show colour as promised, too much shadow in most but you get the idea i hope. looks tiny compared to today's cars.
personally the colour is growing genuinely on me, not motivated by saving ~$3.7k on a paintjob.
i get the rarity and uniqueness factor, but it's not primary for me + besides a riviera blue targa is also as rare as it gets, innit?

honest opinions welcome

I like the color, it will look really good with the mods your planning.

still no idea where you're going with the wheels?

tips, thanks bo sh'hab what is your vote, keep the colour or riviera?

edbhr, thanks mate i hope so and looking forward to the c2s grill + rear bumperettes painted.
as for wheels, importing from the states is out of the question, way too expensive. so the only thing i am willing to do is make a trip out of it to GCC countries if i find anything. right now though; i am loving the targa 17"s!

I love the wheels aswell, will look great with a set of spacers and lowering springs. But not feeling the paint, Riviera would look sweet.

Yeah, shipping prices are just too much. waiting almost always pays off, you just got this beauty
