1995 Carrera 2 : Should I?

1995 Carrera 2 : Should I?
i have been a fan of the 993 body since i was a boy when it first came out. my uncle had a blue/riviera 964 so that also sparked my interest in the older 911s. i now own a 996 c2 cab, so i am myself not new to porsche.
NOW, i gave that intro to make sure you guys understand that i K N O W how awesome a 993 is
in terms of everything to do with looks, inside, outside, timelessness, class, heritage, epic winning-ness all around. I AGREE. that is a given.
HOWEVER, the one in question is priced at $29k. not exactly a no-brainer tbh. the owner is a friend and he just told me about it + its price, and i did not tell him yet that i would be interested, so we can negotiate price (and as a dear friend, i WANT to GIVE him what he is asking) so let's keep it at $29k
HERE IS THE DEAL:
i have too many cars atm, and i am thinking it would make more sense if i made some way. thing is, i SAY that, but i know i cannot part with ANY of my cars (each has a story and is carefully chosen) + i never sold anything
THUS, here are a list of questions. hopefully with your combined help all of them can be answered (bear with me, i'm a bit of a nag) + i ask your permission to hammer you with more questions as the thread progresses hopefully
1. this car is until now unneeded, of course. so i wish to know: CAN it be driven as a daily? mind you, i am comparing it here with a 1993 R129 SL600
*note: are they as 'reliable' as a 996? that is enough for me
2. is a normal 1995 C2, if it were a 97-98 C2S, i would be posting pics already:
so, what are the differences between the 95 C2 and the 97-98 C2S, please?
i know the C2S = widebody, i mean engine/tranny/etc
3. the car in question is already fully refurbished on the inside (at the best shop in kuwait), as well as being fully repainted, and has xenon headlights. Q: did the later 993s came with xenon? from what i understood, he renewed the car. i wish to know before i ask him if all are genuine porsche parts. i don't remember it now (seen it more than 2 months ago), but it looked spanking new and the headlights/taillights were perfect. cannot remember if it had the turbo (s?) turn signal/foglight <- can those be fitted on a 1995 c2?
4. what are the differences between the 93-95 and the 96+ engines?
5. aesthetically, can a C2 (narrow) be fitted with a whaletale? would it look right or extremely noticeable? pics please if doable
i think that is it for now. THINGS TO NOTE:
a. he said the engine is "new". i did not ask him if he meant rebuilt, or like an ACTUAL NEW engine. does not matter what he says because i will inspect it at the AD once i know what i need to know and then think some more.
b. it has red exterior, with beige/red stitch interior
c. has those (are they Turbo?) wheels, with porsche emblem centres (color)

i know, right?
2. new interior i'm sure because the original was in bad shape + not up to standards. i will get pics to show hopefully tonight. btw i find this a good thing (i would do the same). same for the paint job.
3. engine overhaul (i asked, not a NEW engine) since it's a 16yo car. regardless, i will take it to the AD here for a full check of course
4. trust me i understand your questions and that is why i need to check the chassis and tranny and engine with all connections and everything at THE place (porsche exclusive dealer)
do you own a 993? would you say it could work as a daily or is the ride uncomfortable?
