Lotus Renault GP has revealed that it will be running both Bruno Senna and Nick Heidfeld at this weekend’s Jerez test session, with Robert Kubica stranded in hospital and unable to take part following his violent rally car accident on Sunday.

The four-day test session will start on Thursday, with Vitaly Petrov behind the wheel of the R31 for the first two days, as originally planned.

As the weekend begins, the team will allow mileage for official reserve pilot Senna plus Heidfeld, a former BMW team-mate of Kubica and currently out of a drive for 2011 after being dropped by Sauber.

Lotus Renault GP's revised Jerez line-up is as follows:

Thursday: Vitaly PETROV
Friday: Vitaly PETROV
Saturday: Bruno SENNA
Sunday: Nick HEIDFELD

Kimi makes a lot of sense - if they want to win.

But he will cost at least $15-20 million.

I am not sure that Lotus can afford him.

Also, there is no love lost between Kimi and Boullier.

Well I'm happy they are going to use Senna somewhat. Let's see what he can do in a decent car. Congrats to Quick Nick on his return. Let's hope Kubica will have a full recovery.
