I suck at Pchop.... so can you try something out for me and reduce the reflection?



One of the hardest things for me to deal with when taking pix of cars is the reflections... they can work for you but most of the time work against you. I need to better understand how to use them I guess

 

Or pick up a circular polarizer to reduce/remove reflections especially on glass.

 

Yeah, that's what I was going to say - I think it definitely works best with glass and water. Here's an example of a shot that AWD took vs one that I took of the same thing using a circular polarizer.

I know this isn't apples to apples because we shot a different angles, but we both shot through the glass with reflections, and you can get the general idea:

Definitely agree on the polarizer bit, one of the best accessories you can possibly get if you're shooting cars.

 

I tried a bunch of them..the best one ironically is one of the cheapest from Tiffen.

 

I know you're down on the Nikon one, but it's working as perfectly as I'd hoped. I can't afford buyer's remorse!
