The first time I saw it, someone was arguing with him or something and I'm like WTF, I never wrote this. Then I saw the space in the name. I guess that's what it takes to be original.

I took these pictures last night... no editing done to them. Any recommendations on how to improve them?

Yeah, I agree, and here are several versions. B&W (or split tone, high key, etc.) can add a lot of contrast to shots like that, which are pretty muted.

George, were you using a tripod and long exposure on those? Someone better than me could probably jump in and talk about shooting in the dark or very low light conditions.

One other thing is that you've got a lot of distracting things in the first photo, primarily the pickup. Photographically it blends right into the back of the car. And the chimney is coming right out of the top of the car.

Anyway, some "B&W" ideas:
