Panamera exterior FTL!! Most hideous car on the market today...save for the Honda Element and Kia Soul.

Personally, I think the front end and sides are gorgeous, but once you get to the rear, it's just disgusting and obese. I think if they took away some of the bulges, set the tail lights lower down, and used a ducktail to diffuse the fat instead of a bunch of badges, it would look so much better. Just like this...

The C7 interior will be all business. Don't expect anything along the lines of Jaguar, Aston Martin, or Porsche.

^ knowing Chevy, no one is expecting an interior comparable to those auto makers.

I still don't get the hate for Corvettes. They are some of the most ferocious vehicles on sale today. The ZO6/ZR1 will keep up and even beat a ton of German/Italian/British competitors. So what if the interior is plain and boring. The engine is a work of art!

Don't get me wrong, no hate here. I really respect them. But performance really is not everything.

I think a my dad's C6 ZO6 will go down as one of the greatest american cars of all time IMO. The revival of the 427 in small block form is awesome in this day and age. With all these CAFE regulations, having a 7.0L engine is mind boggling.

It's not hate bro, it's being honest. I am a huge Corvette fan but we have to be realistic here, the Corvette is a huge performance bargain and offers more performance than one could wish to find in a car that costs twice as much. That being said, that means certain corners need to be cut in certain aspects (quality of interior materials for one). The list would be exhaustive but just make a quick comparison of the vette's interior on the previous page with those of the other cars (I honestly laughed out loud, an Aston Martin interior in a Corvette? give me a break). Anyway, the major selling point of the Corvette is its bargain aspect, if they raise the price too much the buyers will start looking at other cars (used or new) because they won't be willing to pay 'that much for Corvette'. I still maintain my point however that they could at least give it better seats (CTS-V Recaros) and a decent steering wheel (CTS-V).

I agree. The seats in our ZO6 are nowhere up to the 198 MPH spec. I feel they can easily make an awesome interior while keeping the car in its current, or somewhat higher, price range. I think one glaring nuance is a testament to how great the car is. GM's next version of Magnetic Ride Control will remove any lingering complaints over steering. I don't see any but whatever. I have a strong feeling GM will produce a fantastic interior for the C7. C'mon, Cadillac is designing it and Recaro is purpose building the seats. As for Aston Martin I also ...

This is the essence of my problem with the domestic mindset.

Before you even get out the gate it's an assumption you should expect less- and if you don't you're a jerk.

The interior should be any easy fix. It requires minimal engineering. Keep it simple and don't use crap plastic all over the place. My fear is they will swing it to the other extreme and try and made it look uber futuristic and thus a mess.

Quality and function should dictate the form.
