updates:
bad news is that we are having issues with the adapter, switching the wires for the return of the oil pressure and make sure the diversion is complete
good news is that this has been a great learning process and that the pressure in the unit is excellent
also took care of a glitch in the engine's cooling fan and letting the car run i can definitely see an improvement in temp
tightened the handbrake since the wheel is still out as well

closing in on 2 months now, and to be honest i did not have the time nor the energy to even CARE for this project for the last 3 weeks
have been stressing out for the past month over my brother's career and hopefully god willing all will come to a good end next wednesday june 26th - keep him in your prayers
UPDATE:
this is the part that is now in demand
it is responsible for engaging the clutch through releasing the throwout bearing electrically.
of course, as with the nuisance that is Ferrari, this part is not sold alone and you must get the unit as a whole.
get this, it is $18k part from the AD
working on placing one right now.
the mechanic assures me that once we get this done, the system will just need an oil bleed and will be up and running.
the pics of the stem showing is from another F355 unit which we have tested on my car to diagnose the issue
if you are a F360 (or above?) owner, or a Maserati owner, you might recognize the solenoid on your cars in the 3rd pic (left)

i concede to the fact that i have been a total d1ck to my beloved for the past three weeks. life's been hectic and i just did not put this on my priority list (had zero care tbh) nor did i have the time
failed to locate a solenoid in kuwait, as an owner refused to part with it and only offered the whole unit - which is not gonna happen.
HOWEVER, just off the phone with the mechanic -who was traveling for the past 9 or so days- and the claim is now that we DID FIND a solenoid (used, from an old F1 unit) from the AD workshop.
this solenoid is the same part which was tested on my car from the old unit i mentioned above which was offered to me as a whole.
if we find it, and install it, and it works, all hardware will be new, all hydraulics taken care of, and the rest is the electric component which will also be taken caren of
what needs to happen:
actually INSTALL this solenoid and then do the bleeding and all programming required.
supposedly (operative word) all will be good as new and in proper function.
recap of what hardware i changed:
clutch, clutch sensor, throwout bearing (hill engineering), 360 f1 pump along with an adapter for it (hill engineering)
accumulator and all else is fine and tested, so really, if the mechanic does not get it right this time, i am driving my car back without paying them a dime and they can all go to hell
wishing that this will be sorted in the next 3 days . but i said that almost 3 months ago
promise to be a better car owner and not a total douche again

solenoid from the AD's workshop installed (top one)
tested through the SD and all went well yesterday
needs a road test to finalize
it is unclear in the pic above, but it has the exact same batch numbering as the one i installed from another owner's old unit (there is a pic of it earlier in this thread)! he refused to sell it alone, and would only sell the whole unit. i found it strange that it has the exact same numbering but after asking it turns out that it can indeed have the same exact numbering (but would have a diff serial).
would have been pretty ironic if he sold it to the AD (or i dunno what) only for me to land it as a single part

dropped the car off at the dealer's shop today
spoke with the team leader, explained my ordeal. took him twenty seconds to say "self learn the tcu", which was EXACTLY what i wanted to hear since i have been corresponding with a mechanic in the UK.
thus, i am now 99% certain that the mechanic the car spent the last 4 months with does N O T have the proper computer for the car (claims it is an SD3). we shall see.
i have already requested someone online to show me what the SD3 'looks' like.
it has been a very long quarter of a year, one which has been more BORING than exhausting, and quickly became a waste of time rather than an education.
new clutch, new throwout bearing, new sensor, better (360) pump.
just need the dealer to configure everything to work properly in harmony, and then i might look back and have a few laughs at how long and painful the process has been.
did not pay anything to the shop so far for the above parts' installation. pending what the dealer tells me.
PS: just for kicks, the major service costs $8.8k
how ridiculous is that!

" Annual subscription through Ferrari required for data updates."
while this is the console the mechanic has been working on below:
