Let me know what you think. This would be the alternative to VFF for me.

Well, once they get here to Iraq, I will do a few 2-milers in them and some sprint work, plus a dozen CF WOD's. I will post a nice little review of them on here. I have heard nothing but great things about them. Go get them from REI and take them back if you don't like them.

Oh yea, with the 20% off member coupon and my dividend, I paid a whopping $17 shipped for them.

If you need any help or advice, just PM or email me brother. Those are attainable goals, and that "fat" is mostly water weight anyway, so no problems there. Stick to a 2/1, 3/1 workout schedule. Drink at least 1/2 a gallon of water daily, reduce your carbs past 6 pm, etc. etc. You can do this.

Tested out the low back today to see how it handles stuff. Light weights but the important thing is everything feels good. No pains.

DB sumo deads, 3 sets of 5@110 (thats all the DB weight I have)
Good mornings 5 sets of 12@55 lbs
Hanging leg raises 5x15.

You young whipper snapper. I could only get through 7 rounds exactly. Excuses; 1. I started too heavy with the deadlifts 2. Did deads yesterday 3. I'm a puss.

Funny thing was, I did deads the day prior too. It is also my strongest lift, so don't fret about it. I slammed through the first 3 rounds in about 4 minutes, then slowed way down and paced the rest of the 11 minutes. So, 1-stick to the Rx, 2-be prepared for anything, or make up your own couplet/triplet WOD's, and 3- No way bro; puss isn't in my description of you brother.

SoCal, definitely post a review of the true runners. One thing that I dislike about my VFFs is trail running and beach. No matter that they're called KSOs (keep stuff out) I always get shit in mine! I'd like a minimalist shoe for everyday wear that doesn't look bizarre.

My wife also can't wear VFFs due to her mutant toes and these might be a good alternative.

I am excited about them. I read some reviews about them, and almost every person gave them 5/5. There were even a few hard-core CrossFitters that rated them a 5, so that was enough for me. My 2nd toe is longer than my big toe by a smidge, so the VFF's were a no-go. Plus they look like gorilla feet IMO.

Day 3 of CF... Dogged it a lil on the 800m run's (vff's finally taking a toll on my legs)

3 rounds for time:
30 Kb swings (53/35) i did 36lbs
30 pull ups (assisted with medium band)
Run 800m

31.15 was my time

Overall still loving it, mentally I need to get over "working out" in 30 minutes.
