I think that I'm sad to say... I have a few pairs of camo MMA shorts... Hey, when this stuff shows up at your casa, you don't kick that gift horse in the mouth. Now, as to why I wear them often, I offer no excuses...

Perhaps it is because of over usage of kettlebells! I've had sets of 15's, 25's and 25's now for roughly 10 years. And I've found that I do not need anymore than that. Those things are satanic. They are evil. But I attribute Turkish Get Up's with my 15's and 25's to a total rehab of a destroyed rotators cuff.

Anyone would do well to get down with the kb's.

DUDE!

I had a buddy convince me to try INSANITY. And if it wasn't by the same bunch that put out P90X, I wouldn't have given it a second chance; but buddy... That is one HELLUVA workout.

I just finished up the first 30 days of INSANITY, and it is fitting of the name. I even mixed the last two weeks up with a P90X style workout. I did INSANITY at 0630, and at lunch I did another workout. Wow....

If anyone wants a workout at home workout that is worthy of any high end MMA gym, INSANITY is it. Excellent workout.

Kettle bells are sick. I am a fan. Been doing the Koscheck workout 2x a week. Good stuff.

400 Meter Warm up run

10 Hang Power Snatch
10 KTE

I had a miserable time getting the Hang Power Snatch done correctly, it was frustrating as all hell, but still broke an amazing sweat and feel great.. Will be back @ it tomorrow at 7:30am
There is a huge core focus through most of the exorcises. I had trouble at first with the different snatches as well, miserable is a good way to describe the feeling when you just can't seem to get it right. Glad your enjoying it!

Did Turkish Get Ups for the first time last week. I was careful with the weights though since I have already partaken in shoulder surgery once and I'd rather not make that a reoccurring event.

I have an "adjustable" KB, which is basically a KB handle that allows you to attach standard sized DB plates. I generally leave it at 35lbs which makes for a great warmup device doing swings, torso twists and the like. A bit light for strength work but very good for conditioning.

As for workouts, I still don't have a house to set up my rack but I'm doing pre-hab right now in prep for a run at Wendler's 5/3/1 program. I've had about enough with DBs, KBs and bodyweight. Snowboard season is about done and its time to squat, dead and bench again.

Thanks bud, I was dead after though. It would have been quicker if I didn't have to stop to correct my wife's squats.

Woke up extremely sore this AM, going to pass on CS and hit the treadmill at the gym. I rather spread it apart and bit than lay myself up for a week.

Think I need to start stretching more too.

The vff's are amazing! Did 3 miles today ( first for me) and the way you connect to the treadmill just makes running that much more tolerable and to a point enjoyable! The blisters are killing me though!
