My new thing is elliptical on hill interval for 45 min on level 15. Great for my current cutting phase.

extremely happy because my sched did NOT open up, and my workouts were 1hr each the last 2 days, not 2hrs. meaning that i could not hit the weights as much as i could + was running low on fuel so cardio wasn't as intense. only did stairmaster today, gym was super busy yesterday so i couldn't find one. i hate going past 5pm
waste of time if you ask medon't think i'll have time tomorrow because i have a crazy day at the office, but i'll make sure i prep my food for the weekly-friends-social-gathering and not be seduced

now if you'll excuse me i have brown rice and chicken breasts marinated in lemon to attend to, w/o sauce

Since I was dropping weight a bit quickly I wanted to introduce a few higher GI carbs and calories to my meal plan. Once a day I've been doing these:
2 corn taco shells
1 chicken breast, salmon filet or ground turkey
1/2 avocado
2 tbsp salsa verde
Small amount of black beans or lentils
Makes two badass tacos. Great pre or post workout, with the lean meat + avocado they're very satisfying.
I've been holding steady at around 175, fat measurement this weekend to make sure I'm still going in the right direction. If I can keep it at 175-ish and continue cutting fat that'd be kickass.

What did you do? Just lay off a bit, or use glucosamine? My knees have been kicking my ass lately.

the only thing that really helps is rest
I have thrown out the ellbow killers like skullcrushers etc
went down with the weight and trained triceps only very light with super strict form
I know that otherwise I would have only made it worse over the time if I took pain killers and just trained through it.
For knees it is basically the same..you have to figure out which excercise gives you most of pain and back down on that one..
For me it was super heavy squats and hacksquats(!) while leg press and front squats were way better for my knees.
