Lunchtime quick ride. Under half an hour (with a stop to snap a pic of the lake). The new hood has HILLS which is awesome for quick single speed workouts.

Feel like I'm on top of the world right now!

Tonights Xfit was intense and Had me on the brink of destruction, but I was able to make it through and finish the workout with some time to spare.

Warm up:
500m row (1:48 seconds, happy with that time)
20 squats
100 DU's (managed a sets of 57, 4, 33, and 6 so I'm happy with that too)
20 OH squats
10 inch worm crawl thrusters with a pushup
1 lap

WOD:
10! (for those that don't know ! is the notion for factorial, 10-9-8-7...1 of each)

Club bell squats
burpies pull ups
Parallette pass-throughs (push up, through, dip, back through = 1)
double wall ball
forget the name -kettlebell for each arm, soft knees, slighty bent over, back straight and pulling straight up with just arms. Its a simple exorcise really.
run 100m (I sprinted these, big mistake)

hardest for me were the pass throughs by far. This made up for yesterdays workout and there were only like 10-12 people who were regulars which was awesome. Tonight was a lot of fun, everyone cheering each other on, giving each other shit, yelling for no reason, the whole deal. I feel absolutely fantastic.

Most importantly though, I win tonight because I gave it my all and I can feel it.

Just finished the AM workout. My regular 20 minute spin bike intervals followed by:

3x DB reverse flys(15) then KB lawnmowers(10 each arm)
3x Raised leg crunches(15) then KB deadlift(10)
3x KB side bend (10 each side) then bridges (15)

On the supplement side of things, amazon vine was nice enough to send me more free stimulants. I've been using muscletech neurocore and despite it not tasting so great as a pre-workout boost it's pretty awesome.

The new arrival is muscletech's Hydroxystim, which when you cut through the ad-speak is a fairly typical fat burner with caffeine, geranium extract and yohimbe.

The great thing about muscletech is that they don't hide behind "energy blend" or "fat burning blend", they list the actual amount of each ingredient which might seem basic but is noticeably absent from most supplement companies.

The last two days I've stepped down the neurocore (1 level scoop instead of a heaping almost 2 scoop size) and taken it with the hydroxystim. Caffeine intake is roughly the same but I'm getting the rest of the supposed fat burners. I can't speak to the fat burning properties just yet (Even though I'm fat for me right now that's pretty lean to the rest of the world) but stimulant wise I've got great energy through my workouts.

Not a shot at you at all, but my opinion of Muscletech has always been they sell nothing more than relabeled sugar pills. Biggest rip off in the business IMO.

Based on? I don't follow supplement wars online and get this stuff for free as mentioned. They list amounts of each component, are you saying those are outright lies?

This isn't an argument, I'd just like to know what your statement is based on. The stuff I've got so far seems to work as advertised.

I`m referring to the basic stuff like whey protein,carbs/creatine mixes etc

the other stuff - no matter which brand - is BS anyway

either stay natural or get the real deal...anything else is a waste of money

Gotcha, and I agree sorta. Caffeine works, we know this. Is it worth buying caffeine in magic pill/powder form with the marketing claiming all the extra stuff? I don't think so.

I get to experiment one way or the other for free, so there is no downside.
