991 GT3 rs?

Very awkward analogy

Lack of manual transmission doesn't bother me the way the cars have gone .
They are too digital now , like a 458 ; it just wouldn't work .
It's a pity but the Nissan gtr ( probably unintentionally ) killed the Supercar as we know it or at the very least put the last nail in its coffin .

What an irony in itself..

Thats why I believe the real "drivers" supercars will go up in value..the only question is when..
PS: Im thinking on a GT3 CUP for now..not a manual either (no problem for me)..but still raw enough..

I dunno... Ferrari's have high revving F1 transmissions that are better suited to DCT's and paddles. I wouldn't order my 458 with a manual but I would order a Mercedes AMG with a manual if that ever came around...

coming to the ferrari..gt3 customers are not necessarily 458 customers...Ce n´est pas la meme chose...

bonne nuit,

Yes but I think that if the choice is available more gt3 will be prdered in PDK .
I m a great fan of gt3 espacially RS , i have had 2 different , but honnestly the gearbox on the gt3 rs is precise but too much slow , very difficult to be quick in gear change without to be violent ....
It is not possible to have a cup sequential gearbox on a road car , due to maintenance costs .
So ' m waiting to try the gt3 PDK and hope that it will be a new experienc ,very different compare to the normal 991

well i have always been one for the manual and always will. however, i had an eye opening experience by getting to drive my buddies 991S with aerokit on the the track today. atlanta motorsports park is a short technical track with no real straight away, so HP doesnt really matter there. my best time ever has been a 1:29 on ra1's in my RS.
I hop in his car and do 1:31.7 after only 3 laps with room for more. his car is bone stock with only an alignment and michelin supersports. i was so shocked after the 3rd lap, i just brought it in back to the pits. so now i can only imagine how fast the 3 and the RS will be with PDK.
i still love my manual and wont be getting rid of it anytime soon, but i see why porsche has made the switch
