They told me, it was just a few minutes and did not mention taking the gearbox out??

That was what I was told over the phone, they need it for 2 days, mine goes in Sunday.

2 days should only be for drying the glue that holds the plug in.

Mine was taken in at their initiative to check it. Was returned after less than one day and was told no work was needed on it afterall.

Not a big deal

We have had no recall in the UK if this does not affect all cars, does anyone know if the recall is production date specific?

I thought all 4.0's..
It should pop up at the dealer when they check your car.

Just dropped it off, gearbox does not have to come out after all, get it back tomorrow night after sorting/inspection and first service. 3000km completed.
