Sportec GT2 'R'. Winter project completed!

Hi everyone!

I came across some pics of my newly built GT2, so I thought it might be time to share some more myself.

I've had the car for a while now, it initially started out as a totally stock '08 997 GT2 and has been modified step by step over the past two years.
Last winter I decided to give it a try and went a step further. The idea was to build something special which would fully correspond to what I see as the perfect track toy.

The complete project only took around three and a half months. All the work has been done by the guys at Sportec in Switzerland.

So far we've spent a day at Imola, two days at Spa, and another two at the Nurburgring to see how it all works and to find the perfect setup.
I am hugely pleased with the outcome, although there's of course still some remaining issues (mainly electrical) which need to be solved.

Among several other series, I will be entering the Swiss Porsche Cup this year... With the first race being only a week ahead.

Sick car. I don't think the body kit ruins the GT2 actually. Good luck in the races and add a Teamspeed sticker to the car.
