So based on that assumption the new GT3 will beat up the old one pretty badly and the new GT3 with PDK will beat them both up even worse. This isnt opinion this is just pure and simple educated, obvious Porsche engineering.

Stay tuned, WE ALLL KNOW it will be much faster. Better? Well all realtive and I say there is a Porsche 911 for every era and every type of buyer. The one thing that remains constant is that for every generation the 911 is still something special comapred to what else is out there

I think this would be great!
They could still use a PDK but make it act/feel like a sequential, tweak the gearing a bit and make some software gaga to make it work in slow traffic as well and put a nice stick in the car
We are surfing the same wave! Thanks...

This is one of the very best video I have seen. I have started to look for a 2004 or 2005 996 GT3Cup.

The GT3 is going to be growing out of its own shoes! The new 991 is huge. Moreover, an electrical handbrake, start-stop and electromechanical steering does not belong in a GT3 - Porsche, you better get rid of it.

That said, I will probably be amazed by the 991 GT3 as soon as it arrives.

I completely agree; Porsche better put hydraulic steering and a 6-speed manual in the GT3. They're already pushing it by getting rid of the amazing Metzger engine.

I`ve heard that Porsche could put DFI engine in new GT3. Since I am more into design, can anyone explain me more about DFI engine vs. engine that was placed on earlier GT3`s.
