2013 911 GT3 PDK Hits The Ring!

They want to make 918 exclusive in all aspects, and one of (very important) aspects is highest speed in Porsche model range.

I know this opinion may not be in the majority, but I think that's a heavily camo'd C4S...but with different body parts instead of stickers to hide the details.
And this car DEFINITELY has a rear reflector bar...NOT a trait of a GT3 either.

Yep, but the Turbo Can test mule we just saw also had CenterLocks on it. Air outlets, centerlocks and Aerokit pieces are a really easy way to throw us all off. It just seems much too early for GT3s to be out there without much camo, but getting about that time to expect the AWD versions. And the GT3 isn't traditionally a WB (not counting RS), and this car definitely appears to be distinctly wider from a front 3/4 view than a 991 Carrera.

I understand where you're coming from, but why would they go so far out of their way to test the C4S, when there are already multiple C4S test mules running around the globe in production guise? I think the MUCH more plausible idea is that the 991 GT3 will be a wide body. Because really, if they went this far out of their way to disguise JUST one particular C4S mule, wouldn't they just take off the "light bar" that's currently covered? I think there's probably an air vent or something under the tape.
I know I could so easily be wrong, which is nothing new, but the WB and rear reflector combined with PDK paddles seem to point towards a WB C4 as none of those traits have ever been produced on a standard GT3. Maybe Porsche will mix-up their design elements for the new GT3, but logic says that car won't be out for at least another 12-18 months whereas the C4 is expected to debut later this year.

The only images I've seen of supposed C4 test mules didn't appear to be any wider than the current 991 nor did they have a strip of tape across the rear appearing to be covering a reflector bar. This 'GT3' test mule is the first one seen (other than the Turbo) that is obviously wider and hiding the rear reflector bar. We've been seeing the Aerokit for some time and the rear apron on this car is covering up so much that it could easily be a couple of pipes added to the stock rear exhausts just to throw us off.

Has the tape covering the light bar, and the rocker panel indicating a wide body.
