2013 911 GT3 PDK Hits The Ring!
#42
Wasn't there an earlier rumor stating that the 991 GT3 would be a combination of both the "base" GT3 and the GT3RS? In other words, there would just be a GT3 or an RS'd GT3, not both...
We need a Porsche mole.
As for the 918 being faster, I just hope Porsche makes the most of every model.

News Flash:
The current Carrera S is as fast around the ring as the old GT3(I dont believe it I believe it's faster!)
So based on that assumption the new GT3 will beat up the old one pretty badly and the new GT3 with PDK will beat them both up even worse. This isnt opinion this is just pure and simple educated, obvious Porsche engineering.
Stay tuned, WE ALLL KNOW it will be much faster. Better? Well all realtive and I say there is a Porsche 911 for every era and every type of buyer. The one thing that remains constant is that for every generation the 911 is still something special comapred to what else is out there

Agreed. Real sequentials would drive folks crazy... And PDK is definitely the way to go for lower lap times, but on the street it puts you to sleep faster.
