In hindsight I retract the obnoxious statements I made about the 2RS and the way I came out attacking it. Was not my true intention and the words came out too harsh. Was having a rough beginning of week .. truth be told, I am intrigued by the car and just wish it would be at a price point where it would be a no brainer to add to the stable.

so can we end this thread now and I will see you on the next one where I will try to post more meaningful commentary?
All the joking and bs aside you will find that there are more people of substance here on this forum than on most others combined. I would also say that a large majority of our members have met one another regardless of international membership. I have had numerous TeamSpeeders as guests in my home and similarly I have stayed in theirs. I know I can call on a large number of members here for just about anything. You will learn quickly if you do stick around that around here cars are a bonus for most people. Family and friends have far more value around here than any material possession.

I can see that from the camaraderie in the responses to my childish attacks.

I won't be down there until march and will not have a chance to take all the wonderful additional pictures to substantiate my ownership as the car will have moved to a better home. Please rest assured the bill of sale is authentic, I am sorry if it is not enough right now.

I hope you can appreciate that at this point I don't really want to post additional pictures / stuff for fear of retaliation since I got off on the wrong foot. Perhaps once some time has passed and this has blown over.

What I would enjoy is someone posting in car video of their RS during a 1-4 acceleration run, I would like to see the pace at which the car gains speed.
The irony and coincidence is something that would be hard to fathom even in a fictional novel. Are you stating that you don't have a single photo of the car? I went beserk when I took delivery of the first Ferrari that was acquired.

I welcome you to the forums and thank you for the entertainment you have provided me and many others today
However, I still reserve my belief of the existance of your car until you prove otherwise.

EDIT: I'll post videos as soon as I get it to a track. You're well over the limit at the top of 3rd. With the amount of people getting thrown in the slammer with online vids - I would rather save myself the humiliation

On the contrary I have tons of pics and videos of the car, as I said I just don't want to 'out' myself as I have started off here in a foolish way. Attached is a detail shot hope its sufficient.

I can see how it sounds outrageous.

But could you explain to me the fascination with 'authenticating' ownership? I haven't experienced that before on other sites.

^we get a lot of poseurs on here pretending to own cars that their family has or their friends dad has, etc. The way you sounded when you first began posting in this thread has an uncanny resemblance to said poseurs. This is why we insist on authentication after a claim, like owning a 458, is made.

If you go back to my previous post about my experience with "proof of ownership", the reason I posted it is because it's easy to sit back and talk smack with no relative, relevant experience of one's own. Essentially, this whole argument is truly redundant. Selecting a car to own is just about one of the most individual choices one can make with all the available options in the world, whether you're spending 30k or 300k. The point is there are PLENTY of options. Just like a good cigar, fine wine, decadent scotch or great watch each and every person is entitled to a different opinion. It's just when some individuals act ignorant and arrogant towards recognizing and appreciating other's in their own right do people tend to become agitated. Also when one make's such lofty claims or criticisms, authentication of your perspective is desired by the general consensus because we just want to see if you actually know what the **** you are talking about to be frank.

Not yet. That's really not my truck and that's really not my name on the plate, as I'm a poser.

Just post a pic of the car with a note 'GT2RS sucks'. You can post as many shots you find on the web as you like but no one will believe you until you do.
