DJ^^ That might be to celebrate the race this weekend? Or maybe Porsche will unveil this GT3 RS online after the race and do some commemorative thing.

 

Heard today, no hybrid or kers on the Limited Edition. Might not even be a full 500 hp, but at least 480..

 

Just called my guy here in FL and told him if it was a hybrid or a KERS i want my $$ back, he seemed to be pretty up on the subject now and said the same thing, NO it is not a hybrid or a kers. He went on to state that it WILL be a 4L (rsr motor) 505HP car, he went on to say that "the hybrid WILL have more HP", i wonder if they are going to release a Hybrid too lol. This dealer runs a major Porsche race team as well, so hopefully he knows what he is talking about. Sounds to me like Porsche wants to get rid of the RSR engines and concentrate their racing efforts on the Hybrid, arggggg

Ahhh, remember the good ol' days when an RS was a limited edition lol

 

The Spyder and Carrera GTS are not limited editions. They're permanent Boxster/911 models that we'll see on the next generation model line as well.

 

LOL. Ain't nothing like having a choice between 40 different variations of a 911. That seems smart. Even GM's Truck line doesnt have as many choices.
