thanks for the kind words. just stating my opinion, to each his own i think!

keeper... there's so many nice cars out there now IMO...

current GT3RS
CGT
Zonda!!!

in each case, normally aspirated, RWD, with an emphasis on the driver. i think with these cars, unless you're a driving god like Rohrl, Alonso, Loeb etc, you can truly "grow old" with the car, and never actually reach the cars' potential. that's what makes them so rewarding IMO.

if you get away from newest/most powerful/fastest "race", even a mark 1 996 GT3 is really all the car you need IMO-- again, unless you truly have unearthly skills to exploit the car's potential, and/or are going for fastest laptime during a DE.

but for pure driving enjoyment, i don't think you absolutely need the newest and fastest...

P.S. have never driven a Scud or Stradale, just the "regular" 360 and 430, and i have to say, i can imagine a Scud or Stradale also being way way up there on the "big smiles" list. so yeah... keepers too IMO!

Rs-le

Does anyone know if Porsche needs the 4.0L Mezger RS for homologation reasons for the upcoming season? I realize it's already used in the RSR, but wondering if needed to maintain a competitive advantage in other classes/series?

The GT3 Cups for the up coming season are just like last years a 3.8, the GT2 classes is the only one I know that Porsche uses the 4.0L GT1 engine (RSR)...
Good point....

The car will be a Hybrid in the same sense that a GT3 R Hybrid is a Hybrid. Not technically a Hybrid.

I completely agree with you. I think 10 years from now CGT's will demand the same value if not appreciate quite a bit.

Where are you getting this definite info or are you just posting your wishful thinking as if though it's fact?
