2 RS Prod Numbers

The true deadline is the 14th. Dealers were all saying yesterday the 10th. I was told this morning that all cars were spoken for. Dealer can easily get around the spec car deal by having the owner be a purchaser. I know of 1 doing that now.

Porsche's (Ferrrari's too) relationship with its customers is like the prostitute who keeps coming back to the pimp, only to get smacked around.
The pimp says, "Sorry baby, it won't happen again...." But it happens again, and again... and the prostitute still keeps coming back for more.
So when when Porsche again represents that production will be "limited to X" why believe it?
BTW, I begged off my order today. Three thousand dollars to paint the car black or white? $264K for a reasonably optioned car?
No thanks. I'll wait a little while and buy one at a substantial discount.

Finally someone speaks. Wait around by a lightly used one from a bored collector save a fortune. If they bring 200 , 100 or 300 it wont make a shits worth of difference and if it matters that much don't buy the car buy it because you like it not because there are less or more of them. Typical Porsche BS.

I ended up passing on mine as well. I was concerned that other than the extra hp and turbo characteristics, its too similar in looks etc to the GT3RS I already have. I love the GT3RS and think its driving characteristics are phenomenal.
In the end, I was concerned that I would have fun with the power difference for a week and then it would be too similar in other areas
Getting a GTO allocation helped make the decision as well
